ADRA-Rwanda, a non-government organization, has today launched a meeting called ‘Embrace Project Dissemination’ in which health matters related to women and children are taken into consideration.
Maternal health is at the heart of the meeting’s concern which has attracted delegations from five implementing countries that include Canada,Philippines, Myanmar, Cambondia and the hosting country Rwanda.
“We’re learning from one another and challenging ourselves to do better for children , youth, women, men and communities,” said ADRA Canada Associate Country Director, Shalon Njobo.
EMBRACE is a maternal and child health project led by ADRA Canada and primarily funded by Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada.
“We will continue to have strong partnership with ADRA Rwanda to improve MNCH for our people,” said Alphonse Munyantwali, the Rwanda Western Province Governor as he officially opened the conference.
ADRA normally supports community based groups in Rwanda addresses areas of their interests for example helping farmers access agricultural solutions, health care assistance, and other related concerns including SME engagement.
